** [tickets:#781] LOG: Current file size is not set to 0 if creation of new log
file fail**
**Status:** duplicate
**Milestone:** future

When logFileCurrent (contains filename for current log file) is changed
curFileSize must be set to 0. In current code this is done after the new
current log file is created. If the creation fails the function returns without
setting curFileSize to 0. This means that when the file is created later
curFileSize will indicate that the file is full and a new log rotation will be
done.
I have set this ticket as minor since this is unlikely to happen. It may happen
if the file system is not working correctly and if that's the case the previous
close most likely fails before this happen. Also the worst case is that an
empty log file is created that will live until it is rotated out.
