Sorry for late respond. I think it better if the admin operation (e.i, amf-adm
repaired) returns immediately when the repaired node is not a CLM member. I
think SA_AIS_ERR_BAD_OPERATION/NO_OP is OK.
In case a node is not CLM node, the command will be timeout. The timeout said
that the admin operation can be successfully or not. But in this case, it can
never be successful instead the timeout increased.
In this case, the return error with message can be looked like
root@SC-1:~# amf-adm repaired safAmfNode=SC-2,safAmfCluster=myAmfCluster
error - saImmOmAdminOperationInvoke_2 admin-op RETURNED: SA_AIS_ERR_NO_OP (28)
error-string: Admin repair request for
'safAmfNode=SC-2,safAmfCluster=myAmfCluster', CLM node is not member
That's my idea.
