Hi Surya, Since the two controllers are in different subnet, I have changed configuration of two controllers to use TCP instead of TIPC. As you have suggested, I have provided the multicast option in dtmd.conf I have disabled the firewall also. Configuration in Controller-1: IP Address of Controller-1=1-10.19.137.110 Dtmd.conf: DTM_NODE_IP=10.19.137.110 DTM_MCAST_ADDR=10.19.137.110
Nid.conf: export MDS_TRANSPORT=TCP OPENSAF_MANAGE_TIPC="no" When I start the opensaf it suddenly went for reboot. /var/log/messages shows: Jul 18 11:53:05 n2s1 opensafd: Starting OpenSAF Services Jul 18 11:53:05 n2s1 osafdtmd[3100]: Started Jul 18 11:53:05 n2s1 osafdtmd[3100]: DTM :setsockopt(IP_ADD_MEMBERSHIP) failed errno : 22 Jul 18 11:53:05 n2s1 osafdtmd[3100]: DTM : dgram_join_mcast_group() failed Jul 18 11:53:05 n2s1 osafdtmd[3100]: DTM:Set up the initial mcast receiver socket failed Jul 18 11:53:05 n2s1 osafdtmd: osafdtmd Process down, Rebooting the node Please let me know whether I need to do any other configuration apart from this .
