Hi David,

As of now, there is no way to change it at run time.

Healthcheck and other params of component are changed by Amf and you can
also change many modifiable params of component, SU, SG, Ckpt service, Log
service, etc. as they are mentioned in the Specs.
DTM service or DTM_TCP_USER_TIMEOUT is not as per Specs as it is a transport
layer and not SAF Services.

Thanks & Best Regards

Subject: [users] Changing DTM_TCP_USER_TIMEOUT

Hi all,

Is there a way to change the DTM_TCP_USER_TIMEOUT on the fly, without
restarting opensaf?
I've used immcfg to change healthcheck time values before, so I was
wondering if something similar can be done with the DTM_TCP_USER_TIMEOUT?

Or, can the dtmd.conf file be updated and then issue:
kill -USR2 < osafdtmd pid>

Basically, I'm trying to make that change without having the SUs go down as
in the case if opensaf has to be restarted.

Regards,
David
