Hi all, Is there a way for ntfsubscribe to register for an event that shows when the HA assignment is actually complete?
During an si-swap of the application "myapp", from /var/log/messages, I see when the ACTIVE HA assignment begins: Apr 26 12:13:32 node-2 osafamfnd[13304]: NO Assigning 'safSi=myapp-SI,safApp=myapp' ACTIVE to 'safSu=SU2,safSg=Nway,safApp=myapp' Output from ntfsubscribe: === Apr 26 12:13:32 - State Change === notificationID = 115 subscriptionId = 1 eventType = SA_NTF_OBJECT_STATE_CHANGE notificationObject.length = 35 notificationObject = "safSu=SU2,safSg=Nway,safApp=myapp" notifyingObject.length = 20 notifyingObject = "safApp=safAmfService" notificationClassId = SA_NTF_VENDOR_ID_SAF.SA_SVC_AMF.110 (0x6e) eventTime = 1619453612297598000 (Mon Apr 26 12:13:32 EDT 2021) lengthAdditionalText = 110 additionalText = "The HA state of SI safSi=myapp-SI,safApp=myapp assigned to SU safSu=SU2,safSg=Nway,safApp=myapp changed" - additionalInfo: 0 - infoId = 2 infoType = 10 infoValue = "safSi=myapp-SI,safApp=myapp" sourceIndicator = SA_NTF_OBJECT_OPERATION Num of StateChanges: 1 State ID = SA_AMF_HA_STATE Old State: New State: SA_AMF_HA_ACTIVE However, when the myapp application has actually completed the ACTIVE HA assignment, I see the following log from /var/log/messages: Apr 26 12:14:36 node-2 osafamfnd[13304]: NO Assigned 'safSi=myapp-SI,safApp=myapp' ACTIVE to 'safSu=SU2,safSg=Nway,safApp=myapp' But there is nothing from ntfsubscribe that shows the assignment is complete. Ideally, I like to trigger some code based on when the assignment has completed, NOT when its starting.
