opensc does not know about usb. it is a smart card library and can
interface with openct, pcsc-lite or ct-api drivers.
within openct there are drivers for usb smart card readers.
to send bulk usb transfers an openct driver can use the
functions defined in sys-linux.c (same functions also on
bsd, solaris, etc.), for example
ifd_sysdep_usb_bulk
