Hi,

i finally managed to compile the package. I can confirm that the opensc
support of the Datev Smartcard Classic works quite fine. That's what
i've tested:

- Signing and encrypting e-mails with thunderbird (1.5.0.8) on Windows
- Signing and encrypting e-mails with icedove/thunderbird on Debian/Linux

I could not make out any compatibility issues with the Sicherheitspaket
(original software provided by Datev). I have been able to use the
applications simultaneously.

It's quite interesting that opensc reveals a hidden certificate, not
shown by the Sicherheitspaket ("DATEV Signatur Zertifikat"), which is
issued by an unknown (maybe just non-public) CA ("CA DATEV AUTH 2:PN").
I don't have any idea of the purpose of this certificate or the
difference to the (unhidden) "DATEV Authentisierungs Zertifikat", which
is called "Zertifikat zur fortgeschrittenen elektronischen Signatur" in
the Sicherheitspaket. Maybe the "Signatur Zertifikat" should be hidden
as well in opensc, since this certificate is useless without an
available certificate of the CA (... or maybe not?).

Thank you very much for your work, Peter.

Daniel
