This sounds like it is fixed with the patch with ticket 128
https://www.opensc-project.org/opensc/ticket/128
Maybe it is time to look at this patch again,
and addressed the issues brought up by Andreas and Nils.

Douglas,
So you wrote this tool? Simply amazing work.
Is there any other way I can tell if the cert is
compressed? I have middleware on my windows box that
would allow me to extract the cert. I do not have a
Linux build environment.
When I run ./pkcs15-tool -r -1, I get the following
message:
pkcs15-cert.c:83:parse_x509_cert: x.509 certificate
not found
Certificate read failed: Invalid ASN.1 object.
That sounds like it the cert is compressed, or some other
problem. As I said in a note to the devel list on 12/11/2006
this did run, but I did not have a way to test the compression.
Thank you very much!
Ken
