Hi,

as far as I remember older versions of the configure script in openct
had the possibility to disable support for pcsc-lite. Version 0.6.11 and
0.6.12-pre2 do not know "--with-pcsclite=no" anymore.

If pcsc-lite is _not_ available I see this during configuration phase:

configure: WARNING: reader.h not found, install pcsc-lite 1.2.9-beta8 or
  later, or use PCSC_CFLAGS=... ./configure
  ...
  PC/SC support: no
  ...

and it looks to me as if building without pcsc-lite is still supported
but cannot be turned off explicitly.

Is this behaviour intended?
If building without pcsc-lite is supported why not keep the option to
disable it despite automatic discovery by 'configure'?

ciao
     Klaus
