OK... Solved this using the SCardGetAttrib export... If it does not exist we are using old SCardControl and pinpad function is disabled. I traced it down to pcsc-lite-1.2.9-beta1, when SCardControl was currected the SCardGetAttrib was added. No compile time dependency for pcsc now.
