please try to contact david corcoran of identity alliance, I'm sure he can 
help with debugging the issue.

also you can use the pkcs#11 spy to create a log file of all calls to 
opensc-pkcs11.so and back, which might help in debugging. I think
this is documented on the wiki (opensc or scb) somewhere too.
