Although this list is devoted to p15 and similar, there may be some
people who are interested in other interfaces as well....

Today I started to "play" with
http://www.atmel.com/dyn/products/tools_card.asp?tool_id=3879
which I hope will become the first multi-issuer token based on open technology,
even including firmware, interfaces, and PCBs. [Planned] feature-set at a
glance:

- Double-use as a regular USB 2.0 mass memory stick
- 4 MB of key-space
- PKI, OTP, and InfoCards
- PINs, and PUKs
- Universal credential provisioning and management protocol
- Issuer-separated credential-management through proof-of-issuance signatures
- "Air-tight provisioning" through device attestations

I'm essentially going to port what is already running on:
http://keycenter.webpki.org

How does this map to 7816 and p15? Not at all.
In fact there will be no external file system; only an API.

How does this map to p11? PKI will be exposed through p11
as a "legacy" solution. Note though that only the key "consumer"
part of p11 will be supported since provisioning and management
must talk directly to the token API because p11 does not support
device attestations.

Anders Rundgren
