oops, somehow noone took care of your email, sorry rickard. I usualy ignore mails where I have absolutely no knowledge about the topic at hand, and hope the developers who worked on that code will take care of it. while you reported a bug that breaks something, miquels bug report got my attention, because he said it is a security issue and could show step by step what went wrong. opensc has no active core developers left and only few people working on some parts of opensc. I don't have time for opensc either, only security bugs, grave issues and patches that can be applied without much thinking are getting attention from me these days. so I'm sorry everyone missed your email, I guess it shows the state of the project quite well.
