opensc uses pcsc-lite. pcsc-lite uses a driver, such as ccid (for devices implementing the CCID standard). I have no clue about that device, but you need some driver. Either ask ACS for one (you didn't mention the operating system) or try the ccid driver on linux or mac os X if the device implements CCID. But the device is not listed on http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/ccid.html so I doubt it is CCID compatible. Also ACS has drivers for it, so I doubt it is CCID compatible (they wouldn't need drivers for it, if it was CCID compatible).
