If you have an alternative driver than OpenCT, you can use it (and thus use it on non-linux platforms as well) "From where to get USB token drivers" should be written out clearly in the wiki, so that folks would not mix up smart card driver and usb level drivers (which happens every now and then). I only have epass3k and e-gate tokens. Any good tokens that speak CCID/ICCD and cost less than 50€ and have a JavaCard or some other decent native OS inside?
