FOSDEM is a really nice conference. I attended once nearly 6 years ago, this is a cool place. It takes place in the university. Entrance is free. > Maybe more people on this list are interested in going there > and meeting up, and maybe having a devroom, a talk, or whatever > other options we have? Sure, I would love to help. We could organize a dev talk, help users install and configure OpenSC. I think it may be possible to ask for a meeting room dedicated to smartcards. > Last time we talked about something like this the conference was > real close. But this time we have about 5 months till the event, > so that might be enough to organize many people, plan ahead of > time, get cheap flights/train tickets/travel arrangements etc. > What do you think? Last time I went, I slept in a youth hostel. I will try to find the name of the hostel. It was really cool and looked more than a hotel. To get to FOSDEM from France, Germany and UK, the train is the best solution as commuting is really fast and easy. You can count on me.
