We would be very interested to participate in a dev room as well with EJBCA (ejbca.org). We can play with the whole chain from the CA to enroling the user smart card to the users using the smart card on the clients. SignServer (signserver.org) would also be possible, perhaps using opensc as a signing token for server side document signing. How about OpenVPN? that is also a nice crypto project.
