Dear Jean-Michel,

it's nice to here that the given information is useful and of practical
relevance. But it's in no way a new discovery. All this can also be
found at libccid homepage [1].

As a guideline for users I would recommend to use readers with support
for TPDU protocol. The reason behind is, that TPDU protocol doesn't
impose any limitation. When cards with support for 4096 bit keys become
available in the future, then your current TPDU reader can handle it
with ease.

The list that follows is compiled form data of libccid source code and
includes all readers with TPDU support. How well a reader is actually
supported by libccid should be checked at [2].
