I prefer the idea that each present project introduces itself very
quickly, but it would be nice to also cover projects which are not
represented in the room.

It of course depends on what experience project representants and
devroom participants have with the products. It may be a really
good idea to spend a little time on bringing everyone up to date on
what hardware and software can and can not do, to create inspiration
for the rest of the day. But of course it's important to stay to the
point.

Watch out. Don't insult people by teaching them how to insert cards.
