Hi,
Im not familiar with the card in question, but usually a cards PIN have a corresponding PUK code that is used to unlock the PIN. At least this is the way the MyEID cards work. You can use the OpenSC pkcs15 tools to unlock a PIN code. I am using OpenSC version 12. During testing our engineers have to sometimes have to completely erase and reinitialize a card. The problem is that several of these smart cards are turning up with their security officer PIN being locked due to an incorrect entry 3 times. Once this occurs is their anyway to erase the card still? Best Regards, Brian Thomas ITSEC Specialist Systems Engineer Astronautics Corporation of America 414-449-4223
