Dear all,
Firefox will not start unless the smartcard is available for exclusive
access. This seems to be a strange behavior. I thought Firefox would
only load libopensc-pkcs11.so when needed and not on startup.
Is this a bug in firefox or an obligation in libopensc-pkcs11.so?
More generally, is there a way to test that a smartcard is being locked
by a process? This would allow applications like Firefox to start even
if another process is locking a smartcard.
