This appears correct - now that the radius tag has been deleted, it 
renders with the default light flare (the tear-drop shape) rather than 
an annulus.

I don't see your name in the history of this node - it is mostly the 
work of "elsaxo". However, I do see a remnant of the previous 1.5 mile 
arc to the north. This is because it lies close to the edge a zoom-12 
tile and I have not yet had time to write a 'garbage collector' for the 
renderer.

I have a manual work-around which I have applied, so it should clean up 
soon.
