Hi Gerrit,
can you give us an update on the status of the pointer cleanup? Before
we get serous about documenting things I would feel more comfortable if
we could get the pointer cleanup done.
Did you get around to trying the *-based approach that we talked about a
while ago? I can't find it in the code right now. If you did, how did it
work? Can we get rid of the FCPtr hierarchy? I would be willing to take
a portability hit concerning dcast on that one (which is probably easy
to fix with a script), if it means simplifying the code significantly
(and if it runs faster I wouldn't mind, either ;).
I would like to help simplify things if we can, as
OSGContainerForwards.h is a little scary right now. ;)
