Hi All,

I've been profiling the RenderTraversalAction a bit, and came across
something that might be interesting for the FCPtr/CPtr discussion, and
as a datapoint in general.

I've been rendering a few small models (<1 MPoly), and
PThreadBase::getCurrentAspect shows up at 10-15% of total instruction
count. Thanks to the parallel nature of graphics hardware that doesn't
necessarily convert to 10-15% time, but it gives an indication of what
we could save by switching to C pointers (the test program is
single-threaded). Note that this is probably not generalizable to other
version of OpenSG and to other models, but it's an indication.

It's not an order of magnitude, but it's something that I think is worth
changing.

Just FYI

    Dirk
