Hi,

I usually use debug versions of OpenSG and OSG_LOG_LEVEL=DEBUG while
developing stuff. Unfortunately this produces huge amounts of output
during system-startup, which I'm often not really interested in. I'm
fully aware of the ability to set the desired log level from the code of
my test-programs, but that would mean to edit them.
Instead, what do you think of introducing a new recognized env. variable
OSG_LOG_LEVEL_STARTUP that could be used to silence the system until
after osgInit() ?
Comments and pointers to potential gotchas for the implementation are
very welcome ;)

        Thanks,
                Carsten
