Dirk pointed this out to me today as well. It seems that my editor is removing extraneous whitespace that makes the changes pretty big. I will try to be on the look out for this in the future, but one way to deal with it now (and for other commits like this from other people) is to go to the trac changeset link and click on the ignore white space changes. That reduces this change down to about 2 pages for example.
