the scons build is working very nice nowadays. i'm exlusively using 
scons to build opensg and my apps (see my ebuild in the other thread).

there are so some (rather small) things missing in the scons build 
like the triggering of doxygen etc.

i'll be very glad if scons would be officially supported...
