I think that's a good idea.

I don't, but I think the collected database of the all OpenSG users should be 
able to do that. I think the Wiki would be a good place to collect these test 
files. They don't have to be (or actually shouldn't be) big, but they should 
cover all file types that we support. Can you start a page for that and let us 
know when it's up? With everybody's help we should be able to fill it up 
quickly.
