yes, they broke when we switched to cmake. Patrick asked about them not long ago, but I did not have the chance to work on getting them back since.

just as a quick update, I got the unittests partially working on linux now (partially because I still need to find a way to have them actually executed as part of the build). I've attached the patch as it is, maybe someone feels adventurous and wants to give it a try on windows or mac ? ;) It moves some files around and before committing it the svn:externals for unittest-cpp need to be changed a little. I also tested with the latest unittest-cpp (r206 IIRC).
