In the mean time, adding opensg.vrsource.org to our hosts file is saving the
day.

But, do you have plans to permanently move the master repository to git
(github)? I wouldn't mind a bit :-)

Since most core developers are using git nowadays, it seems more logical to
use git as a master repository and SVN as a 'backport' (through 'git svn')
than the other way around. Please, let me know if (when?) a master OpenSG
git repo turns official.

PS: opensg.org is a nice domain, why would you guys prefer
opensg.vrsource.org instead? :-)
