Hi, I am currently using OpenSG with Visual Studio 6/Intel Compiler 7.1 and FOX. I like using FOX as a GUI library, although sometimes a graphical GUI builder application (like the QT Designer) is missing. With FOX the GUI layout is defined completely in the source code by layout manager widgets and options passed to them. The FOX developer argue this is more easy to maintain and actually it is, but you have to get used to these layout manager widgets with their options. When it comes to creating a special layout very accurately then a graphical GUI builder application has advantages. Using OpenSG with FOX is very easy!
