Hi Praveen,

I tested this with qt-3.12 and at home I work with qt-3.21. The current qt 3.3 is buggy (only on the windows platform)
Can you try to compile it with the cygwin environment.

bash ./configure --with-compiler=cl.net2003 --enable-qt --with-qt=/usr/software/qt-3.21 --enable-opt-drawtree --enable-win-localstorage

make
make install

That's the way how the dailybuild compiles it.

Andreas

Andreas,

I have the right directory in the path. I checked using depends.exe. The
precompiled WindowQTlib is compiled with a different version of Qt from
the one I am using. Could this be the problem. I am new to both Qt and
OSG and can't really tell. Which version of Qt are you using ?
Thanks,
PT

Subject: Re: [Opensg-users] Template for .NET 2003+Qt ?

Hi Praveen,

I used the .net 2003 OpenSG dailybuild from today and compiled the SceneViewer with this and it worked fine. Are you sure you have the right OpenSG lib directory in your PATH environment variable? Just load the SceneViewer.exe into the Dependency Walker (depends.exe) and turn view full path on to see what OpenSG dll are loaded.

Andreas

I am new user to OSG and I have been trying to get OSG and Qt working

in

windows. Thanks to Gerrit the solution files help in working with the
CVS version. My problem is although I have been able to get the
sceneviewer compiled ... when I try to open the OSG display window the
program crashes. But, the precompiled program which comes in the
distribution works fine. Same thing happens with simpler examples.
Is it possible that something is wrong in my development environment ?
Could I be missing a flag somewhere during the build process ? If
someone has gotten this to work can you post a template in the CVS

which

will help others in my situation or atleast please post a note.

Thanks,
Praveen
