Hi Enrico,
did the testSHLEarth example work? If you are working on linux there is
not yet a OpenGL driver supporting GLSL. On windows you need a registry
hack you need to add the following keys.
Andreas
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\OpenGL]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\OpenGL\Debug]
"ShaderObjects"=dword:00000001
hi all,
i was able to finish my project with ARB_Vertex_Programs and
ARB_Fragment_Programs. Now i am planning to change those two programs
with one GLSL Chunk. I downloaded the new OpenSG CVS, built it,
installed and made some minor changes to my code.
When i turn on the shl chunk, nothing happens, the graphic card is
*still* using its standard pipeline.
I copied almost one on one the parts relative to the shader from the
testSHLEarth.cpp program, and AFAIK i didn't forget anything, so why my
shl chunk is being ingored???? any possible reason?
this pc is powered with a geForceFX 5200, it should be capable to use
the shadin language.
Maybe do i have to download anything from OpenGL.org?
thanks,
enrico
