Hi Enrico, 3D textures are supported in the TextureChunk. There is a node core called "Slices" which does simple direct volume rendering of a 3d image by generating semi-transparent slices through a 3D texture. There is a test program "testSlices.cpp" in Source/System/NodeCores/Drawables/Misc/
