The long story is that 2 different methods were called to place a
value into a Qtable : setCellWidget and setItem. The former deleting the
first content set by the first call... I removed the setItem call and it
works the way I supposed it to work.

what qt version do you use? The QTable behavior seems to depend on the qt
version :-(
I'm using 3.3.2, you might be right for the change of behaviour !
