Hi,
yes, I tried today again (25th, about 1000 CEST, I don't know, when it's
night for your Server, don't even know it for myself, as the clock shows
;-) )
And again with a new checkout. I also tried using gcc 3.3.4 (at home)
instead of the 3.3.3 (at university).
But I found two different ways to compile, first was using a handmade
Makefile, and I don't get any idea why that works but the configure
created doesn't.
And yesterday -a "little" desperate- I commented out all occurences of
Real16, and that worked as well. Having included the OSGReal16.h did no
harm, but the template gets built having the OSGFieldDataType.h
It's said that the Real16 is not defined in that scope
/home/dwalz/prog/OpenSG/Source/Base/Field/OSGMFSysTypes.h:221: error:
`Real16' was not declared in this scope
but the file OSGReal16.h is included...
And that's the reason that there are a lot of parse errors in the
different datahandlers and finally the argument for the Field templates
is invalid:
/home/dwalz/prog/OpenSG/Source/Base/Field/OSGSysFieldDataType.h:538:
error: template argument 1 is invalid
This all confuses me, especially the fact, that a different Makefile can
compile, what does configure create additionally, what could possibly
break the compile process? Unfortunaly I am not familiar with the autoconf
syntax and stuff, so I just used your mechanism...
Well, until that I need to get along with the unrolled snapshot, where I
disabled manually the Real16 data.
I hope this is not the end of it, maybe at the time there'll be a solution
Thanks and regards,
Daniel (W)
