If you really just want them to be totally separate that's always an
option.
There is no really clean solution, but you can get a Navigator * from
the SSM and assign the laternative Navigators to that. If you do only
when no mouse buttons are pressed it should work. A safer solution would
to not use the SSM for Navigation, but the above hack should be enough
for a test.
