not directly, no. I'm reluctant to add user control based on traversals,
as traversal orders can be dynamic, and having to accommodate a
predictable behavior here has been a major PITA for the Performer
people.

In general it's also not that easy, as the simulation of the particles
might change their bbox and make them visible...
