Hi all,

I have written a small java/AWT wrapper with the help of some OpenGL-canvas code I found on the internet. It allows you to write some (native) OpenGL and/or OpenSG code and put it inside a java app. We won't be using it right now, so I just like to pass it on while I still know about it (otherwise it'll just gather dust on my harddrive :).

The build system we use here is a bit homegrown, so someone needs to write makefiles or something to make it possible for other people to use it. If someone would take a look at it and add the surrounding framework and include it in OpenSG/contrib, I'd be happy to send you the sources. (Not much work really, mostly decide the best way to build java within OpenSG's build system.)

Otherwise I'll could try and cook up a few simple .bat files which compiles the java, the native dll and the testclasses+dll, and runs the tests. Should be sufficient to get anyone started, albeit not perfect. However, that may take a while though as I have other pressing issues here at work.

What do you think?

Best regards,
/Marcus
