Hi,

two questions on the Surface rendering node:

Are NURBS available now or still only NUBS?

Trimming curves are Splines?

Thanks,
Christian

It's a specific (commercial) project, but I can't go into more details
than that currently. After release there will be more info of course
(and I'm lobbying for some support/donation to OpenSG as well, if the
project is successful).

Hi Andreas,

did you apply a material to your Geometry core? There was a bug in the
wrl writer (already fixed in the current cvs version) were it crashed on
geometry nodes without a material.

        Hi folks,

www.opensg.org is back. It still might take a day or two before the
dailybuilds are back, too (we had to change some security options and
need to change the dailybuild scripts).

Sorry for bouncing this, but I'm getting some crashes which might be
vaguely related to this (in TextureChunk's destructor).

How are FCPtr's references handled when stored in Fields in general?

Still only polynomial, sorry. There's been some work on the rational
support but it's not ready yet...

Polynomial B-Splines, yes. I haven't actually seen a model that had
rational trimming curves yet. If anyone has such a model, that'd be
welcomed for testing purposes. :)
