I would prefer to have both. The path for those who just want to use
everything they have and don't worry about startup times, and the list
for those who know what they want.

Or you can make the *** version official and we take it from there. ;)
If it's not a big deal (and I wouldn't expect it to be) maybe you can
move it over. Allen would probably appreciate having it before the big
switch.
