as a workaround the path //remote/models/file.osb should work. I will
look into it thanks for the hint.

I have experienced a problem attempting to load models on Windows when the
path to the model is that of a Windows share (for example,
\\remote\models\file.osb). This is happening using an OpenSG pre-1.6 CVS
build from sources updated July 19, 2005. Is this a known bug, or is it
supposed to work? Thanks.
