If the bounding box test is enough then it would be great to have such
an optimisation. Just for information, what does the panning exactly ?

Hello,
I have a small problem with the buttonPress methode of Navigator. In
this method, the method getIntersectionPoint is called each time the
middle mouse button is pushed. The problem is that this picking needs
a lot of time if the click has been done on a big geometry. Would it
be possible to disabled it in the same way it's done for the centering
( setClickCenter(false) ) ?
