Hi,

I would like to draw an overlay on top of my rendering
result. I read in the archive that there's no "support"
for 2d overlays because this is a 3d scene graph. ok.
It seems to be possible to draw an overlay with a second
viewport, an orthogonal camera etc. It seems a bit
complicated to me. So I'm wondering if I can't just
render the overlay myself this way:

mgr->redraw(); //simple scene graph redraw

glEnable( GL_BLEND );
glBlendFunc( GL_SRC_ALPHA, GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA );
glDrawPixels(...); // slow I know, don't flame me for that
glDisable( GL_BLEND );

swapBuffers();

Ok, I'm smart enough to know that this it is a very bad idea
to change an OpenGL state without letting know OpenSG. But
the good thing is, it actually works (maybe because I'm
lucky).

I would like to know if these four simple lines can be
made OpenSG conformant (in an easy way of course!).

Regards,

  Toni
