hi,
Hello,
I think I had the same problem with my powerbook. I switched the gcc
compiler from 4.0 to 3.3 (sudo gcc_select 3.3) and then I was able to
compile OpenSG. Other guys don't have this problem with Tiger...
verry freaky!
Well, I'm one of those guys... But it is impossible for me (and the
others
on this list) to help you when you do not tell us *what* actually goes
wrong. So please send the output of the compiler etc. to this list and
specify precisely which version of OpenSG you're using, which
configure line
you used etc. etc. etc.
here is the complete output of the compiler (3,27 MB txt file).
www.uni-koblenz.de/~crieder/logfile_gcc4.0.txt
OpenSG version 1.6, gcc4.0, MAC OSX 10.4.2
For configure I've been told to use '--with-compiler=g++ --with-
glut' by
the Mac people. Adding --with-png, --with-tif and --with-jpg might
be a
good idea, too.
'--with-compiler=g++' is no longer necessary, I've changed the
configure
script to take g++ as the default compiler on MacOS.
Bye,
Patrick
regards,
Christian
