Hi Allan,

Hi.
I am about to run OpenSG on both Linux and Windows. Since I have
access to the same OpenSG base-directory on both platforms, I would
like to use this as base for both platforms. I remeber Dirk mentioning
something about the possibility to have multiple versions in the
Builds directory, but I can't find that information in the archive.
Does anybody have some info on this?
Also, I'm not sure if there are any issues when running
"./configure ..." on linux and later also under Cygwin in Windows in
the same source tree. Has anybody had some experience with this?
That should work just fine. Configure will create a new directory in
Builds for each platform. Our experience is just that compiling on
Windows is slow enough, but over SMB it slows down to a crawl. That's
why most people I know prefer the pain of going through copying stuff
around or using CVS to keep both versions in sync.
