Statistics are a Foreground, which the SSM adds to the Viewport it
creates. When you exchange that for the ShadowViewport the Foreground is
lost. You can get it back by turning stats on after you set up the
ShadowViewport. Note that the SSM only adds the StatForeground to the
first Viewport in the Window, so make sure you remove the old Viewport
from the Window.
