there are several tools to create the 360° texture for the QTVR:
- Autostich: http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html
- PTGui (http://www.ptgui.com/)
both tools are working more or less automatic.
and some other handy tool i came across:
