I did that, now I get a different error message (as if glut were not installed): /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lOSGWindowGLUT
This is not related to GLUT not being installed (compiling and especially linking of OpenSG itself should have failed then), the linker just cannot find the library. Try adding the correct folder to LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
using bash, for example: export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib/dbg:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH hope it helps, Patric Schmitz -- Patric Schmitz, MATA Trainee VR-Group RWTH Aachen University Center for Computing & Communication, Room 2.05 Seffenter Weg 23, 52074 Aachen, Germany ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
