Windows or Linux ? In generall they can be installed in parallel but
they can not be mixed. So you have to take care that OpenMask sees the
1.4 libraries and your software uses the 1.6 versions. The normal
solution would be to start either both or at least one program from a
script which takes care of setting the appropriate path variables.
